At A Christmas Wish, we assist low-income families in need in Arlington and Darrington, WA, by providing them with Christmas gifts made possible through generous community donations and volunteer support. We believe that everyone has the power to make a difference, and together, we can create a positive impact. Whether you’re seeking help or looking to lend a hand, we’re grateful to have you with us.

December 12 & 13 at the Arlington Boys and Girls Club
During our Family "Shopping" Event, pre-registered families can choose free gifts for their children,
from newborns to high schoolers, ensuring every child receives a special surprise this Christmas.

If you’re a low-income family in Arlington or Darrington, we encourage you to register for this uplifting event.
Our mission is to bring joy and support to your holiday season. With a welcoming and festive atmosphere,
we look forward to celebrating the spirit of giving together.

2025 Registration Requirements
To register, please ensure you meet all of the following criteria and have the required documentation ready.

 Eligibility Criteria

  • Your children must attend Arlington or Darrington School District.

  • You must reside in Arlington or Darrington.

  • You must be the legal guardian or parent of registered children.

                                        Proof of Address and Parentage is required to register:

Examples of Proof of Address:

   -A copy of a current 2025 utility bill
   -A screenshot of your Skyward account showing your current address​ and date of 2025

​Proof of Guardianship or Parentage
Upload one or more of the following documents during registration:

  -Screenshot from Skyward showing your child’s parent/guardian name
  -Parenting Plan
  -DSHS letter
  -Free & Reduced Lunch letter from the school
  -McKinney-Vento letter from the school

OR

​Birth Certificate
You have three options to provide your child's birth certificate.

1. Upload it during registration
2. Bring it to your scheduled appointment on Friday or Saturday
3. Pre-validate it in person at one of the following times:

Wednesday, Dec 10 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Thursday, Dec 11 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Registration Limits

Both parents cannot register the same children at the same address.
Grandparents may only register if they are the legal guardians.


HOW DO I REGISTER?
REGISTRATION OPENS - NOVEMBER 1 - DECEMBER 5

Important Note: The event is not first-come, first-served. Our volunteers work hard to keep the same gifts
stocked throughout both days, so families who come on Saturday—or later in the day—have the same
opportunities as those who come early Friday morning.
For families outside of Arlington & Darrington
Please note that this event is specifically for low-income families residing in Arlington or Darrington, WA. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist families outside of these areas. However, we have put together a list of resources that may help you in your community. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to reach out to local organizations for support.
